California PaverScape Construction (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a licensed California contractor (CSLB Lic #1138921) serving the San Francisco Bay Area. This policy explains what information we collect through californiapaverscape.com (the “Website”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send an estimate request through our contact form, we receive your full name, phone number, email address, project address, the services you are interested in, your budget range and timeline if you choose to share them, and any details you write in your message. If you call, text, or email us, we also receive your contact details and anything you tell us.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you request, and the date and time, in order to deliver the Website, keep it secure, and measure basic traffic in aggregate. The Website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Address suggestions. When you type in the project address field, the characters you type are sent to Google so it can suggest matching addresses. Google handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Chat assistant. The chat on the Website answers common questions with preset replies inside your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us and is not stored. The one exception is the chat's callback form: if you fill it in, we receive the name and phone number you enter, plus the question that led you there, just like a contact-form request, and we use them to call or text you back.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare estimates, and schedule site visits.
- To contact you by phone, text message, or email about your project.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Website.
- To keep business records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with the law.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers that help us run the Website and receive your requests: Web3Forms (processes the contact form and the chat's callback form and delivers your submission to us by email), Google (our email service and address suggestions), and Cloudflare (hosting, security, and analytics). They handle information only to provide their services and under their own privacy terms.
- Legal reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business changes, if our business is sold or transferred, in which case your information may transfer with it.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website itself does not set cookies. Our provider Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the Website, and the analytics it provides do not rely on cookies. If we add tools that use cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
5. Do Not Track
The Website does not track your activity across other websites, so it does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
6. Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your estimate or project. We use calls and texts only to answer your request and coordinate your estimate or work; we do not send promotional or marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us. We do not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services, keep business records, and meet legal obligations. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
The Website uses HTTPS to protect information sent between your device and our servers, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to ask what personal information we have collected about you, to request that we correct or delete it, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email us at californiapaverscape@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it.
11. Links to other websites
The Website links to other sites, such as Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, the California Contractors State License Board, and the manufacturers of the materials we use. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
